Keep those sneakers white all year round with Crep Protect Cure
At Crep, we know that these inclement weather conditions can have a massive toll on your sneaker game. While some of us keep our brightly coloured kicks reserved for our spring rotation, the risky few are happy to hit the damp, muddy tarmacs in their fresh white joints at the expense of getting them a little dirtier than usual.
Although this may be a sneaker purist’s nightmare, there’s nothing to fear as we’ve always got the cure to your muddy problem. In this ‘How To’ demonstration, we show how to keep your white sneakers clean, so you’ll never think twice about wearing your favourite sneakers at any time of the year.

How many sneakers can I clean with the Crep Protect Cure kit?

What’s the difference between the Cure Solution and Crep Protect FoamX?
The main difference between Cure Solution and FoamX is that the Cure Solution is a highly concentrated formula that will need to be mixed with water to activate its powerful sneaker-cleaning properties. The Cure solution is best used for tackling deeper cleans, effectively eliminating all types of dirt and grime.
FoamX, however, is a quick-action foam that is perfect for on-the-go cleans. Once applied, the foam will turn from purple to white, signalling that it is ready to be wiped off.
Can the Cure Kit clean Suede and Nubuck materials?
Yes, the Cure kit can clean suede and nubuck, however, try not to use excessive amounts of water in the cleaning process and brush carefully. Be extra cautious when applying the product on dyed suede as this can cause colour bleeding. We always recommend testing the product in an inconspicuous area before use.

Step 1: Cleaning Preparation
Before you start cleaning your white sneakers, fill up a bowl of lukewarm water and dip the premium brush (included in the Cure kit) into the water. 
Top Tip: It is important that the water is lukewarm as this makes any dirt or stain easier to tackle.
Step 2: Give ‘Em a Clean
Now that your brush is damp, apply 2-3 drops of the Crep Protect Cure solution to your brush and start to work the brush in a circular motion across the uppers.
Starting with the midsole and working your way across the sides, mudguards and toe cap. At this point, the solution will start to foam up. This will be a great indication that the solution is effectively cleaning your sneakers. The Stan Smiths that we are cleaning in this demonstration are partially made up of mesh, so take extra care when using the Premium cleaning brush.
Top Tip: Repeat step 2 as many times as needed until desired results are achieved. Some stains will be more difficult to tackle than others, so make sure you take extra time to revisit these areas during the cleaning process.
Step 3: Don’t Neglect the Outsoles
Once your uppers are cleaned, apply some pressure to the sneaker cleaning brush and start to scrub the outsoles, working in a lateral ( up & down) motion until all dirt is removed.
Top Tip: Use the Microfibre Cloth to remove the dirt from the grooves of the outsoles, cleaning small areas that the sneaker brush can't reach.
Step 4: Leave to Dry
Now that your white sneakers are fully cleaned, leave the sneakers to dry in direct sunlight or in a well-ventilated room for 12 hours
