Introduction:
The Air Jordan 4 ‘Tour Yellow’, a loud, nostalgic classic from the mid-2000s, is set to return in Fall 2026, giving longtime collectors and new sneakerheads a rare second chance.
Design Details:
Originally released in May 2006 as part of the short-lived Jordan Brand lifestyle line, the ‘Tour Yellow’ AJ4 broke away from the Chicago Bulls–inspired colour blocking fans were used to. Instead, it embraced a youthful, eye-catching palette that perfectly captured the post-Michael Jordan sneaker era, where retro models began experimenting with bolder, lifestyle-driven looks.

The 2026 retro will stay true to the original design that made it a cult favourite. Expect a White leather upper, a speckled Tour Yellow midsole, clean Black detailing, and the feature that made this pair legendary, the removable Velcro ‘Flight’ tongue patch. Hidden underneath is the ‘Rare Air’ branding, a clever nod to the line’s exclusivity and a detail that linked it to iconic pairs like the UNDEFEATED Air Jordan 4.
While not an OG colourway, the Tour Yellow 4s have grown in stature over the years, becoming a sought-after collectable for their bold look and lifestyle heritage. They were introduced just months before the now-iconic ‘Thunder’ and ‘Lightning' 4s, which shared the same striking yellow hue but leaned even harder into statement-making style.

Release Info:
Retail is set at $220 USD, and pairs will drop via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers. Considering the 20-year wait, expect serious hype and instant sell-outs. If you’ve been hunting for this elusive mid-2000s treasure, Fall 2026 might be your only chance to secure it for retail, before resale prices take flight once again.
