Housing a range of timeless, culturally intertwined designs offset by the celebration of a range of individual creative environments, the Atlanta-based boutique has exemplified that fashion is more than what meets the eyes or the clothes that you carry on your back, it’s a form of ‘self-expression deeply rooted in one’s identity and surroundings’.

In the same way the fashion entity has created a premium streetwear community for its consumers, it has also indulged in a range of noteworthy sneaker collaborations.

Landing in the laps of one of the most revered sportswear corporations to have ever existed, the fashion brand has reflected its vision of culture, community and couture through a range of Nike collaborations that have become a holy grail for many sneakerheads and avid air enthusiasts alike.

To celebrate A Ma Maniére in all its glory, we look back at some of our favourite sneakers collabs so far. Stay tuned as there is going to be a lot of heat thrown your way.

A Ma Maniére x Jordan Air Ship SP ‘Green Stone’ (2024)

A Ma Maniére’s link-up with the Jordan brand on the Air Ship was a timely one. With the silhouette proving to be a fan favourite of recent times, the ‘Obsess The Details’ capsule added an extra A Ma Maniére magic to its iconic lineage.

This specific pair lands in crisp white leathers, paired with nappy suede that nourishes the Swoosh and the thick welded high-rise collars. Co-branding decorates the rears, while a lace tag adds that extra slice of brand nostalgia.

A Ma Maniére x Jordan 3 Retro SP 'Raised By Women' (2021)

In 2021, A Ma Maniére graced us with a greyscale iteration of the iconic Jordan 3 silhouette. Dubbed the ‘Raised By Women’ edition, full grain leathers make up the majority of its mid-rise build, while inserts of suede offer a buttery feel to the heels, mudguards, eyestays and collars. Mismatched Nike and A Ma Maniére branding offer a touch of nostalgia, while hints of violet paint the rears for a pop of colour.

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Jordan 2 ‘Airness’ (2022)

James Whitner’s third collaboration with the Jordan brand offers a luxe take on one of our court favourites. The A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Jordan 2 ‘Airness’ is readied in a less than conventional ‘Sail’ suede upper, replacing the leather snakeskin for something extra supple and soft.

Touches of burgundy are spotted throughout, while A Ma Maniére inscribed heels deliver a personalised touch. Stealthy tones of black decorate the laces, inner quilting and the winged tongue branding offers a bold completion to this 1986 icon.

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro SP ‘Dawn’ (2023)

2023 saw the Whitaker’s group design their first ever Jordan 5 silhouette and the 2-piece collection was one for the Nike history books. The ‘Still We Rise’ campaign, inspired by literary icons James Baldwin and Maya Angelou, celebrates the Black community’s strength and resilience.

Through art, fashion, and social commentary, AMM and Jordan Brand deliver a universal message of empowerment. The ‘Dawn’ colourway features a serene palette of grey and blue—grey symbolizing perseverance and resilience, and blue represents hope and unity. This combination reflects the promise of a new day, a reminder that even after the darkest night, light and renewal are always on the horizon.

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Sail and Burgundy’ (2021)

A Ma Maniére's second collaborative project offered a revamp on the one that started it all: behold the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Sail and Burgundy’. This one takes a premium route of design: high-rise uppers are shrouded in buttery mesh, while burgundy snakeskin printed leathers offer a luxurious touch to the Swoosh, collars and rears, landing just above the ‘A Ma Maniére’ wordmark on the heel. The Nike branded tongue tag and laces also take on the ‘burgundy’ theme, completing this court icon with some extra sophistication.

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Violet Ore’ (2022)

The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 ‘Violet Ore’ reimagines the classic with refined sophistication. Wrapped in muted purple nubuck, its design is elevated by subtle chrome details and signature mismatched branding on the tongue. The black heel tabs feature a bold Nike Air logo, while a powerful message—“It’s not about the shoes… it’s about where you’re going”—is etched inside.

A quilted lining adds a luxe touch, ensuring comfort meets elegance. Finished with a cream midsole and iconic Air cushioning, this pair blends legacy with purpose, making it more than just a sneaker—it’s a statement.

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘While You Were Sleeping’ (2024)

A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘While You Were Sleeping’

A Ma Maniére redefines the Air Force 1 Low with the ‘While You Were Sleeping’ edition, blending elegance with a futuristic flair. Ditching the classic white-on-white, this rendition stuns in soft pink leather, highlighted by a shimmering, silvery-grey Swoosh that catches the light.

The modified toe box ensures breathability, while the iconic outsole swaps 'Nike Air' for the A Ma Maniére signature, adding a bespoke touch. Part of the powerhouse’s six-sneaker lineup, this design proves that even timeless icons can evolve.
