The Ultimate Guide to the Crep Protect Suede Reviver

Sneakerheads, it has almost been one week since our innovative Suede Reviver landed on our website and hopefully your rotations.

Everything you need to know about the Crep Protect Suede Reviver

At Crep, we know that cleaning your Suede and Nubuck sneakers might not be the easiest of tasks. Colour-bleeding, exposure to moisture and change in texture can leave your suede sneakers looking dull, limp and simply lifeless.

That’s why we have shifted the script, creating an all-new regenerative product which brings your suede sneakers back to life. Instead of splurging another £180 on a new pair of sneakers, our Suede Reviver effortlessly revives the colour and texture of your sneakers for a fraction of the price.

If you’re still deciding whether this magic in a bottle will do your sneakers justice, rest assured as we’re going to run through some of our most frequently asked questions, so you can decide whether this product is the perfect fit for your sneaker care routine.

What is the Crep Protect Suede Reviver?

The Crep Protect Suede Reviver is an innovative sneaker care solution designed to restore the original vibrancy and texture of your suede and nubuck sneakers to give them a new lease of life.

How often should I use the Crep Protect Suede Reviver on my sneakers?

For the best results, use the product whenever your sneakers start to look dull or lose their original vibrancy and texture. This is also dependent on how often you wear your sneakers. If you wear them regularly, then this may need more of a top-up, compared to you wearing your sneakers occasionally.

How long does it take for the product to show results?

You should see quick results after the suede reviver has been applied and rested for 1 minute, following a rework with the brush to reset the suede’s nap. This process should not take any longer than 5 minutes.

What should I do if the product gets on non-suede parts of my sneakers?

Wipe off any excess product from non-suede areas with a clean, damp cloth.

Does the Crep Protect Suede Reviver protect against future stains or damage?

The product's main function is to restore and revitalise the texture and colour. For protection against future stains and damage, consider using our Crep Protect Spray.

How to use the Crep Protect Suede Reviver:

Step 1: Ensure sneakers are clean before application, then work the suede/nubuck nap with the built-in brush provided.

Step 2: Shake the bottle well and spray evenly on the targeted area.

Step 3: Allow the sneakers to rest for 1 minute.

Step 4: Continue to brush your sneakers using the appropriate brush type – the hard brush for thicker, textured suede, or the soft brush for delicate, fine textures to reset the nap.

For multicoloured suede, we recommend you rework each colour individually, rinsing the brush between uses. Test for colour fastness on each colour patch before applying.
