Q. How does the Crep Protect 200ml Protector Spray work?
Hydrophobia sounds exactly like what it is. We give your trainers a liquid phobia. The hydrophobic layer repels liquids and stains, so they don’t penetrate the trainer materials. They just float on the protective layer waiting to be wiped off.
Q. How long does the 200ml Spray protect my trainers for?
If you wear your trainers every day, we recommend that you reapply the Protector Spray every 3-4 weeks.
Q: Will the Crep Protect 200ml Protector Spray change the colour, look or performance of my trainers?
No, the Protector Spray does not affect the colour, look or performance. Once the spray dries, it is completely invisible.
Q: What is the best way to apply it?
The best way to apply our Crep Protect Spray is by shaking the spray well before applying, as this will ensure that all the elements are mixed so that the repellent can begin to form inside the can, so that you can get the best of the product.
Once you have shaken the spray, hold the Crep Protect Spray from a 20cm distance, press down on the nozzle, and coat the sneaker in a continuous motion. Start from the laces and work your way towards the toe box and heel section. After you have applied one coat, let your trainers dry for 10 minutes in direct sunlight or a room temperature setting. Repeat this process and allow your trainers to dry for another 10 minutes before wearing.
Cure FAQ's
Q. How often should I clean my sneakers with the Cure?It depends on how often you wear them. For everyday wear, we recommend a clean every 2–3 weeks to keep them looking box-fresh. The Cure solution also cleans up to 50 pairs of trainers.
Q. Can the Cure Solution clean Suede or Nubuck materials?
Yes! However, take caution not to use excessive water and brush carefully! Please note that dyed suede can bleed, which means you should avoid getting them wet at all. We recommend always testing the material first in an inconspicuous area to check if it bleeds.
Q. Can the brush damage my sneakers?
No, it’s been developed to safely clean all materials, from leather to suede. Just apply gentle pressure on delicate fabrics.
Q. Do I need a different brush for different sneakers?
No one brush does it all. But if you own a lot of delicate suede or nubuck pairs, use the brush gently during cleans and re-wash the brush between cleans when treating different colour patches of suede and nubuck.
Q. What makes the microfibre cloth different from a normal cloth?
It’s made with microscopic fibres that lift away dirt and foam without scratching or damaging sneaker materials.
Q. Can I wash and reuse the microfibre cloth?
Yes, it’s washable and reusable. Just wash it with mild detergent (no fabric softener) and let it air dry.

Q. Aren’t Crep Protect Wipes just baby wipes in fancy packaging?
They’re so much more! Crep Protect Wipes are coated in our patented Cure cleaning formula with two sides, one with textured dots to lift stubborn stains, while the smooth side is perfect for general touch-ups. The wipes are also tried and tested for durability, meaning they will withstand the toughest of cleans without falling apart.
Q: Can I use them on suede and nubuck?
We do not recommend using the Crep Protect Wipes on suede and nubuck, as these materials are not designed to withstand moisture. Take a look at our Cure solution and Premium Brush for safe suede and nubuck cleaning.
