Some sneakers are worth the wait, and after more than two decades in the vault, the Air Jordan 5 ‘Shy Pink’ is finally making its long-awaited comeback in Fall 2027.

Originally released in 2006 as a women's exclusive, the ‘Shy Pink’, also known as ‘Stealth’, is set to return for the first time in 21 years. According to Sneaker Files and sneaker insider @zsneakerheadz, the retro is expected to land in Fall 2027, giving fans another shot at securing this underrated classic.
A Blast From the Past
2006 was a memorable year for the Air Jordan 5, with standout colourways like the ‘Green Bean’ and ‘Sunset’ making their mark. However, the ‘Shy Pink’ brought something different to the table, combining metallic finishes with subtle pops of pink.
Staying faithful to its original design, the Air Jordan 5 ‘Shy Pink’ 2027 features a shimmering silver upper, complemented by Shy Pink accents across the lace lock, Jumpman branding, inner lining, and signature shark-tooth midsole detailing.

Stealth grey adds contrast to the midsole, while white speckling across the pink sections gives the design an extra touch of character. Rounding things off, a translucent rubber outsole completes the retro aesthetic.
Same Colourway, New Shape
While the colour blocking remains largely untouched, the 2027 retro is expected to feature Jordan Brand's updated Air Jordan 5 mould, bringing refreshed proportions to the familiar silhouette.
The Air Jordan 5 ‘Shy Pink’ is scheduled to release in Fall 2027 in women's sizing, retailing for $215 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers.
With another 2000s classic making its return, could this be one of 2027's most underrated Jordan releases? Only time will tell.
