EMINEM X AIR JORDAN 4 'ENCORE' RETURNS IN 2027
Some sneaker grails are rare. Others are practically mythical. The Eminem x Air Jordan 4 'Encore' comfortably sits in the latter category, but after more than two decades in the shadows, that’s about to change.Image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files Introduction:Originally created in 2005 to celebrate Eminem’s Encore album, the blue Air Jordan 4 was produced exclusively for friends and family, with only around 50 pairs believed to exist. That microscopic production run turned the 'Encore' into one of the most coveted Air Jordan 4 collaborations ever, with authentic pairs now commanding eye-watering five-figure prices. Now, according to @zsneakerheadz, the Eminem x Air Jordan 4 'Encore' is expected to receive its first-ever public retail release in 2027. Sneaker Files has also reported on the shoe’s return, with the highly anticipated drop currently pencilled in for May 15, 2027, at a retail price of $230.Design Details:The 2027 edition isn’t simply dusting off the original blueprint, either. The sneaker arrives in a Blue Ribbon, Game Purple, Stealth, and Black colour scheme, with blue nubuck dominating the upper and translucent eyelets adding that unmistakable early-2000s flavour. Game Purple replaces the Varsity Red detailing found on the 2005 pair, while subtle Eminem branding sits behind the tongue.Image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files Underfoot, white wraps around the visible Air unit before Stealth and Black complete the outsole. There’s also plenty of speculation surrounding the heel, with the original Jumpman potentially making way for Nike Air.And the history runs deeper than the rarity. The colourway was designed by Chris Gibbs, with an early concept reportedly originating at UNDEFEATED before catching Eminem’s attention at Nike World Headquarters.Image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files Bottom Line:From friends-and-family legend to a retail release, the Eminem x Air Jordan 4 'Encore' is finally stepping out of sneaker folklore and onto the shelves. If you’ve ever called this one a grail, 2027 might just be your moment. In other sneaker news, the Air Jordan 17 'College Blue' Returns After 25 Years
AIR JORDAN 17 'COLLEGE BLUE' RETURNS AFTER 25 YEARS
The Air Jordan 17 is stepping back into the spotlight, and it’s bringing OG energy.Image courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker FilesIntroduction:The Air Jordan 17 'College Blue' is reportedly set to return in 2027, marking the first-ever retro release of the original colourway.Originally released during Michael Jordan’s Washington Wizards era, the 'College Blue' AJ17 has a place in Jordan history. Jordan himself wore the silhouette on court during the 2001-02 NBA season, making its comeback nostalgic for Jumpman fans.According to reports from @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan 17 'College Blue' is expected to launch on February 19, 2027, landing during NBA All-Star Weekend. The timing feels fitting for a sneaker linked so closely to Jordan’s playing legacy.Design Details:Designed by Wilson Smith III, the Air Jordan 17 was built around Michael Jordan’s love of jazz. Music-inspired touches run throughout the design, from notes incorporated into the lace eyelets to the flowing lines across the upper. Even the original packaging leaned into the theme, arriving in a metallic briefcase inspired by instrument cases.Underfoot, the AJ17 was no slouch. Zoom Air cushioning, a full-length shank plate and a TPU heel counter gave the sneaker plenty of performance credentials, while its removable shroud added another layer to its look. The return is also another big moment for the Air Jordan 17’s resurgence. Following limited releases such as 'University Blue', 'Lightning' and the Infinite Archives collaboration, the silhouette has gradually earned a wave of attention.Release Info:If the reports prove accurate, the 'College Blue' will arrive in OG-inspired form and could even bring back the metallic briefcase and CD. With a reported $350 price tag, this comeback won’t be cheap, but for AJ17 heads, 2027 could be the year the 'College Blue' finally gets its encore. In other sneaker-related news, the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Nails & Grails' Will Make You Feel Bonita

We’re in the last stretch of summer, and the heat keeps on piling in. From retro returns to colorway nostalgia, this August is shaping up to be one for the sneaker books.Stay tuned as we take you through some of our favourite August sneaker releases this month. Air Jordan 13 ‘Wings’Release Date: 6th AugustJordan Brand continues its storytelling streak with the arrival of the Air Jordan 13 ‘Wings’. Premium leather makes up much of the upper, pairing its luxurious muse with distressed denim panelling that is designed to be removed, ripped, or peeled off to reveal the unique graphic underneath. Pops of colour deliver a luminous touch of green, orange and blue to the mismatched carbon pods underfoot; the signature holographic cat eye is also shaded in green. Graphic insoles round off the fit with an extra dose of creativity. It’s motivation in sneaker form, inspiring and uplifting future generations from across the globe.Dirt on denim? Our Foam Mini will do the job Air Jordan 17 ‘Black Patent’Release Date: 8th August The hype around the Air Jordan 17s revival has been immense this year, and this new chapter of the resurgence starts bold, understated, and in ‘Black Patent’. In keeping with its traditional 2002 design elements such as the chrome heel and the crocodile-inscribed eye stays, it is also taking its own natural route of experimentation through its glossy patent uppers. Court-ready innovation meets sophistication – it’s a win-win in our eyes.Keep those patents clean with our wipesAir Jordan 6 ‘Oreo’Release Date: 8th August This delectable treat now returns to our shelves after 16 years, and it’s as tasty as ever. Staying faithful to its OG tooling, this one keeps it relatively simple; black and white leather and nubuck dress the upper, paired with a side of speckles to offer a crumb-like finish to the midsole. Jumpman branding embellishes the heel, and the signature spoiler tab remains intact, for an easy pull-on fit.Nike Ja 4 ‘Nightmare’Release Date: 13th AugustJa Morant’s latest signature sneaker arrives in suitably sinister style with the Nike Ja 4 ‘Nightmare’. A dark Obsidian base is contrasted by pops of Voltage Green, while a sculpted upper and Ja branding bring plenty of attitude to the court. Underfoot, Cushlon 3.0 cushioning and a new Ja-Frame provide the bounce and support needed for Morant’s explosive style of play. A nightmare for defenders, perhaps, but a dream for sneaker fans.Spills are a nightmare; clean them up with Crep Protect Cure Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Green Camo’Release Date: 14th AugustA true throwback is making its return this month. The Nike Air Foamposite Pro ‘Green Camo’ brings back the unmistakable woodland camouflage shell from its original 2013 release, with black detailing and vibrant Volt accents adding some extra fire. A gum outsole completes the military-inspired look, making this one a must-cop for Foamposite fans and lovers of all things nostalgic.Outkast x Nike Air Force 1 O96 ‘ATliens’Release Date: 27th AugustNike and Outkast are taking the Air Force 1 somewhere out of this world with the ‘ATliens’. Inspired by the iconic Atlanta duo’s 1996 album, the sneaker swaps the traditional Uptown aesthetic for a cosmic colour palette of black, purple, bronze and pops of Volt. With the album celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, it’s a fitting tribute to one of hip-hop’s most influential records. From Jordan retros and court-ready heat to Foamposite nostalgia and an Outkast-inspired Uptown, August has plenty for sneakerheads to get excited about.
